Khadi (or Khaddar) is a hand-spun or handwoven fabric primarily spun out of cotton and sometimes silk and wool. It is a coarse and an easy to sew fabric. Patchwork, Kantha, Phulkari, and Block Printing are designed easily on this fabric. Even though the fabric is very plain in its raw form, it has a global appeal due to its unusual captivating appeal. It is highly comfortable to wear.
